Introduction:

Vancouver is a picturesque west coast seaport situated in the Canadian province of British Columbia. It is one of Canada’s most multicultural areas with the major languages spoken being French and English. Over time Vancouver has become a popular filming location as it’s surrounded by mountains which are snow capped in winter. This has sparked thriving art, theatre and music cultures around the city for everyone to enjoy.

Things to Do and Places to Visit:

Cycling: Everyone in this city seems to ride a bike to work or at least to the train station so become a local and pick up a bike at your nearest rental shop. Among the best places to cycle include Stanley Park and cycling around Vancouver Lake both of which have designated bike paths for you to explore and sight-see.

Ski Grouse Mountain: By just catching a 15 minute bus from downtown, Vancouver's premier attraction offers the perfect destination for a truly rewarding and memorable experience. The iconic Grouse Mountain Super Skyride gives visitors and locals alike the opportunity to see the majestic nature of British Columbia unravel in front of them during the 8 minute ride from the Valley Station to the summit.

Hiking is one of the easiest ways to do so, and within a short distance of downtown are plenty of easily accessible hikes to do such as the stroll around Vancouver’s Seawall the Grouse Grind or the Stawamus Chief all of which present viewers with unforgettable experiences.

Overall Opinion:

A beautiful location of the world, with many fun and exciting experiences to be had this place should definitely be on your list of places to travel to. Exceptional food and culture make this place one to remember and a worthy visit however the expensive travel costs make it hard for some. Overall Vancouver is a nice 3/5 stars and is perfect for a quick stay or those with an active lifestyle.
